On exhibit at the New Canaan Library
A chorus of unusual, liquid, and arousing bird calls while shoveling the car out this morning.
I spoke to the birds, I don’t remember what I said. I know I didn’t have the right words to say to them.
The sound of sleet. A small ticking on the windows.
Subtle seasonal colors at the beach.
And a restful gray horizon that disappears.
How to express it – the effect of winter, when it really settles in.
One of the best salads I have ever had! Kale, butternut squash bits, and burrata. Perfectly prepared.
And, just because I love snow – a mini birthday blizzard came along.
