I&#8217;m up to 33 two-inch squares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some are from Jude&#8217;s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/threadcrumbs.bigcartel.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/threadcrumbs.bigcartel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">threadcrumbs<\/a> moons and shapes. Some are from<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/morewgalo.blogspot.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/morewgalo.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Deb Lacativa<\/a>&#8216;s dyed patches. Some are  random stash cloth that volunteered to become stitched squares. Some are sort of wonky, not quite square &#8211; although I use a template, I haven&#8217;t been pre-ironing and edges slip out of alignment easily. Some feature the back of the fabric for a paler look, but I don&#8217;t mind some vibrancy here and there. Some are very thin and others a little too hard or thick. A mixed bag. It&#8217;s satisfying to me to pack up the whole effort in a little cloth project bag every day when I&#8217;m done stitching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"667\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gemtactics.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/img_3688.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10831\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gemtactics.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/img_3688.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.gemtactics.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/img_3688-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><figcaption>33 2-inch squares<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When I finish this batch of cut cloth, I&#8217;m going to move on to something else. I&#8217;ll probably just leave the squares loose for now, even though some have an affinity for others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This has been enjoyable though, so simple. I notice that I like a little arithmetic with my projects.
