I am having a great time stitching together patches. Feeling really aligned with the weather. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This patch reminded me so much of the frosty mornings we are having lately. So I photographed it on the frost-covered hay spread as mulch in the garden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this grouping was generated because I wanted to get to nine four-patches. I chose the acidy green from my dye pile and the purple comes from gather what spills<\/a>. I like how it echoed the other squares with embroidery & cutwork. Together they make a very grapey combination with my khaki. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then of course, playing around with layout on the floor. I keep making minute adjustments. I like it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only the fourpatch squares in the center are stitched together. I don’t know if I’ll stitch the whole composition together yet. I seem to be waiting on something. I want this to be much bigger, so I have to come up with more bands. Meanwhile, it’s decorating my floor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A beautiful day today, went for a walk through Ice Pond Preserve. It’s not a long walk really, and just one awkward moment when I have to cross a corner of someone’s yard to get from the beach back to the road. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
