I’ve been studying fall this year – or rather, how winter comes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s a lot of flourishes, last of summer days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then there’s quieter, cloudier days, where the colors stand out that much more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took an extra long walk today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I came across this woodland shrine decorated with shells and other finds in the Salt Pond Preserve. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Red and green. What makes them so beautiful together? When I use them together, it looks like I’m trying to be Christmas-y. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I finally finished using the grapevine I’ve been soaking to make this sphere. There’s quite a lot of muscle required to push and pull these vines into the structure. It needs more canes to feel really firm. I wonder what would happen if I left it outside all winter. Would it hold together? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
