We spent a few days in Quebec City. I’ve long wanted to go there since my son went with his middle-school French class. And it’s only 5-1\/2 hours drive away from us, a pretty drive along the Kennebec River through a remote part of Maine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decided to go before Christmas to check out the holiday markets and enjoy the lights. My daytime photos are really gray and gloomy – which has its own kind of charm. But the photos of the city lit up for Christmas really warm my heart. Lights are so welcome during this dark time of year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
