It\u2019s 3 am. Can\u2019t sleep. Every time I set an alarm because I need to get up early, I wake up absurdly earlier than the alarm. Oh well. We are going to my sister\u2019s place in southern Maine today for a quick visit to transfer some gifts and holiday wishes down to some family in NY and CT, where we are not going this season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday I walked on Eastside Road. I visited with some abandoned houses. I love them. This area has a lot of abandoned and neglected houses. They have so much hidden story. Sort of like people. I want to know, but I am okay with looking and loving. I don\u2019t go in, or even venture much closer than the photos show. But I imagine and appreciate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These gloomy pictures seemed appropriate for the solstice.
