I know a lot of my neighbors. Not all of them, but many more than I knew where I lived in Connecticut. Some of them are “summer people” – don’t live here year round. I need to think about them all more often, as I really treasure them. Yesterday we had a work day at the community garden. Only a few people showed up because it had started raining lightly. Yet a lot of work got done – a whole row of the fenceline freed from invasive grass and secured with cardboard and a layer of wood chips. There was a real sense of teamwork. I enjoyed it.
