All the tomatoes are coming at once. The windowsill and much of two counters by the stove are covered with them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really love those yellow-orange ones. They are like the sun. Oddly enough, the variety is called Moonglow. I grow them every year and they always produce remarkable fruits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s such a fast season. They are hard to appreciate enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can tomato sauce. Lucky for me, Sam does almost all of this work. He’s really into it, counting up the quarts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So yesterday, he was canning sauce and I was processing beets, zucchini, green beans, onions, and shallots. Made for a busy kitchen, but we work quite compatibly, cleaning as we go. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every day, something gets done and then the harvest is over. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s supposed to storm this weekend. I wonder what the rain and wind will do to the crops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had a notice from my web host that my account was compromised. I had a lot of cleanup to do – deleting old files and updating things I wanted to keep. To my surprise, I was able to find old logins that I hadn’t used in years. The websites are much improved, but — did I “determine the attack vector and then take actions to mitigate further exploits,” as they say? I really don’t know. I’m waiting for the next notice from them. Interesting that I needed to clean up my electronic life in the middle of all the other cleaning I’m doing.
