They caught my eye this morning, glowing there in the white bowl that Sam&#8217;s mother gave us for Christmas  years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t usually buy either oranges or persimmons, but I splurged at the co-op this weekend. Thanksgiving inspires me. I love to buy just a few persimmons this time of year. They are so brilliantly orange and I love their little topknot of sage-green leaves.
