Usually, I forget it almost immediately. Today I wrote &#8220;generate joy&#8221; &#8211; a phrase I read that stuck with me. I remembered it often during the day. This has to be good, yes? A good aspiration is one I can remember. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I took joy in the Winter Faire that we went to this morning. All the children and families. So excited and festive. But I also took joy in the berries dripping raindrops. And the fog creeping over the hills. A trip to the airport in Bangor to pick up relatives turned out to be a bust because the flight was rerouted and delayed. I was so tired of waiting in the car at the airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even so, this was a useful experiment. It is a change from thinking joy is given to me to thinking of joy is a choice I can make.   <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every morning I write an aspiration for the day.
