We took a bike ride in Acadia, with many other riders who had the same thought that today would be a good day to ride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve never been to the Duck Brook Bridge. It was impressive especially since it doesn\u2019t carry cars, just bikes and pedestrians. And maybe carriages, since we were riding on the carriage roads. It was clearly built with people in mind. Little balconies jutted out on either side for viewing from above and an elaborate staircase allowed access to the brook. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also rode around Eagle Lake. At the end of that route we spotted this very tame heron who nonchalantly groomed him or herself while we observed. I hope the bird was ok, just relatively used to people nearby. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
