Tuesday we went for a walk in Acadia, along the Ocean Path. There were some people around, but it wasn’t terribly crowded. Lots of dogs on leash. There was a cold breeze, but the sun was warm. It was relaxing to be walking along and listening to the sounds of the ocean. I found the rock formations very beautiful We’re lucky to live in this part of the world. I always have a background consciousness of our degrading environment, but I could set it aside at least a little while. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We walked down Sand Beach until we came to the stream that forms there. A large pool had formed in the sand. Its shape reminded me of Saudi Arabia, whose geography is very much in the news lately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m following along with this podcast, as different people read and comment on Ursula LeGuin’s blog entries. She’s one of my favorite authors. I didn’t know, or maybe I forgot, that she wrote a blog in her 80’s. Inspirational. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
