Then it languished in the art room because I had much else to do, and I really needed some help getting started with it. My Friday fiber friends at Chapter Two offered that help this week and I&#8217;m weaving! Now I want to work through Sue&#8217;s book and complete some &#8211; or all! &#8211; of her beautifully contemplative <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weavingalife.com\/about\/keyforms\/#.XDuu5qROmEc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">keyforms<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I dismantled some of the fabric shown here because I wanted to pay more attention to the design &#8230; oh, and I don&#8217;t really know how to take the weaving off the loom yet! I can get this at the drug store. Or just use the batten?<\/li>\n<li>Batten came with the loom, it&#8217;s not visible off camera. Creates a convenient shed in the left-to-right direction.<\/li>\n<li>Tapestry needle used to thread weft yarn through, especially in the right-to-left direction.<\/li>\n<li>Strong cotton cord used as warp. I don&#8217;t have any, need to find a source. (Update: <a href=\"https:\/\/halcyonyarn.com\/yarn\/06011300\/cotton-carpet-warp-84\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Halcyonyarn.com<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Weft is a ball of yarn left over from a crocheted hat.
