I have wanted to make this amulet since I bought this loom and book, <em>The Art of Weaving a Life<\/em>, by Susan Barrett Merrill. I bought it at Fiber College, maybe July 2017? I&#8217;d have to look it up. Seems fitting that I would finally find the capacity to make an amulet during a pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>It had helped a lot to have access to the online course Weaving on Little Looms, by Rebecca Mezoff. I feel much more confident in knowing how to do things like warping and sewing slits and &#8220;meet and separate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m wearing my amulet.
