Atlantic horizons
We’re back from southern Maine. Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Biddeford, Scarborough. Towns with a lot of history. My sister and her husband live in a old mill building converted into apartments. Someone has managed to save these old mill buildings and remake them into useful space.
The beach was long, sandy, and beautiful for walking. We walked the beach two mornings in a row. Then we had a late afternoon meal at a restaurant with a patio overlooking the sea.
There are very busy parts of town as well, but I didn’t take any photos with people in them. My frame of mind, I guess, looking for nature and space.

Catherine~ Gosh I really like that wide, flat view! I’ve noticed that I most often do not photograph people either, unless it is a pic or two of us ??
I have to admit I like the look of the landscape or plants better than people, usually.
there’s nothing like a good sandy beach … and I quite agree about unpeopled (unpopulated?) landscapes, photography, and artwork in general … must be the introvert in me
I felt quite lucky to walk the sandy beach. We’re on the coast, but sandy beaches are rare here at home.
