Parmeliaceae

A type of lichen, per my plant app.

Sam cut down a maple tree. This specimen was nestled in the upper branches. It’s so interesting with those circular shapes surrounded by little hairs.

We had a little snow earlier, then a lot of rain, then wind bringing colder weather. Typically temperamental March.
