Winter nesting

The basket is done. I was in a big hurry to finish it and now I miss the occupation of it.

It’s snowing beautifully outside. I want to go out and walk in it.

I am thinking the basket will hold my thread nest which has outgrown its tiny commercial basket. But we’ll see, maybe another perfect use will come up.

  2. it’s BEAUTY FULL….i love it resting in the snow…are those Turkey Tail Fungus? Whatever, in good company there. You have a Big Garden!

Hi Grace, thank you! Those are “false turkey tail.” The garden is big alright, I’m glad we have winters that allow for a rest.

I love your use of color here!

    • Catherine says:

Thanks, Nancy! I sometimes start a basket I think should be white/off-white, but before I know it, color accents slip in.
