My neighbor’s peaches
My neighbor has too many peaches ripening on the tree in her garden. She invited us to come over and pick some. It was a beautiful experience.

The next day I sorted them into ripe (most of them) and almost ripe (a few, reserved for fresh eating). I washed the ripe ones, removed the pit and any bruises, sliced them, and tossed the slices with the juice of a lemon. Then I laid the slices on cookie sheets for freezing. When frozen solid, I bagged them and put them back in the freezer. Imagine peach crisp in winter!
Catherine~ Oh what a lucky experience for you guys! Fresh peaches and peaches in the seasons to come!! Yum!
