Frost
A heavy frost last night. The comfrey was all wilted. But it perked up, back to normal, after the day warmed up. It’s pretty hardy, but dies at some point during the winter. I’ll cut it back and maybe dig up and discard some of it. It spreads a little too exuberantly in the garden.

I was excited when I zoomed in on that leaf. The frost just looked furry, but zoomed in you can see the crystals. I think of tomatillos as a So Cal thing!
