out of sorts. i think a lot lately about these age old expressions….out of sorts. feeling out of sorts.

but you gave yourSelf a Picnic. Yes. an antidote.

Funny how the Brits say “sorted” as in “got it sorted.” But “out of sorts” sounds a little old-fashioned. A picnic as an antidote, great thought. Doing as much as possible outside while the sun still feels warming and the bees are still on the asters. Grateful for the cold time coming to Maine.

one of the rare good things about the pandemic was having the perfect excuse to skip all the health maintenance appointments …

that tomato sandwich looks so very good …

    • Catherine says:

The tomato sandwich was fabulous. I loved skipping everything in 2020, but paid a price in 2021 with eye problems, high blood pressure. Now feeling back on track, but there’s a new vulnerability, I guess.

was feeling out of it too, the drawing helped. no frost here yet, but things are looking bedraggled.

May be a seasonal thing, goodbye to summer. Definitely a signal to switch something up. We’ve had a few frosts now.

Oh that tomato sandwich!! Yum! Out of sorts seems like the new normal. Ha.

    • Catherine says:

Out of sorts is a new normal, yes. The mood continues, but I am learning how to take care of it. Or rather – remembering. Done it before…
