Trees and snow
What a storm.
We are having perfect weather here for Christmas Eve, in the 20’s (F) and snowing lightly. The power is out. But we have a generator and a woodstove. No trees fell in our immediate vicinity. Sam is out checking on the situation with relatives and I’m at home cooking.
I left our Christmas tree to the last minute. I was not sure I was going to put one up. But we went ahead and harvested it from the yard today. There are so many baby trees on the property, most of them growing too close together. It doesn’t feel bad to take one down. Now it’s up in the house with lights strung, but no ornaments yet. I’m making side dishes and desserts. A truly Merry Christmas Eve. Holiday blessings to all, especially those suffering in this storm’s aftermath.
your Good Man Sam
Yep, he’s good
nice that you got snow, we just got rain and cold.
I love snow. But maybe not Buffalo style snow.
