Knitting journey

I made a sock! I feel so proud of myself. I have to remind myself that lots of people knit socks. And this is a very basic sock pattern. I’m just feeling really impressed with my ability to do something that I had decided long ago that I’d never do.

As your can see, I use a notebook to keep track of the project: type of yarn, needles, pattern, etc. and progress on rows in certain areas.

It’s kind of amazing that a strand of yarn can be manipulated to form a three-dimensional object that fits a foot.

On to sock number two.
