Camp lately
Yesterday we had to go to camp early to prepare it for my niece’s visit next week. Here are some current camp photos:
We’re heading to the Common Ground Fair today. First, have to make hummus and blend the fermented hot sauce which has been in the crock long enough. It will be a busy morning of scurrying around before we leave for two nights.
What a lovely cabin and your grandmother’s quilt is a beauty.
There’s a nice peaceful feeling there and I think the quilt adds to it.
I am fascinated by ‘camp’ life in your neck of the woods. Here…Mmmm? Maybe those that can have a beach house? I don’t know if that is still done…or a cabin up at Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead or someplace like that. But, this Lake Life always makes me curious. Your place is charming…big enough for me full time! Love your grandma’s quilt and a nice big table for gathering. Lovely.
I’ve thought about someday living there full time. Would probably have to have a well drilled. Camp life used to be very rustic but now it’s upscaled quite a bit. I find it kind of sad even though I’m one of the offenders.
Wow … beautiful!! The quilt, all the windows … the kitchen, the shower … what a PeaceFull place!!! My Gid I love everything about it.
Thank you, Tina. I wish we could spend a summer afternoon stitching there and watching the lake, trees, and sky!
