Wildlife
Sam was mowing the neighbor’s lawn while she’s away. He went around and around. When he got close to the center, he startled a fawn out of the grass. It ran away.
Last night, with the window open a crack, I heard a barred owl calling. Good hunting, I hope.
My tamer life. Or is it wild? What’s the difference?

Seems to me you have a Beautiful life .. but what I get from your posts is that you’re a person who lives with gratitude and appreciation for all the beauty that surrounds you.
Thank you, Tina – I really appreciate your kind words.
The peachy yarn looks familiar ???? What a great patch for the mending…love it!
Every time I come to your place here, I see beauty and wonder and great going-ons!
Your comment reflects why I named my blog “gemtactics” – even though a friend told me it’s hard to pronounce. It’s named after a word coined by Emily Dickinson and the line goes “our new Hands learned gem-tactics practicing sands” (excuse my faulty punctuation and capitalization!). I like to think of myself as “practicing sands.”
